About the role
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for Cards and Payments to join us. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that projects related to card issuing, manufacturing and personalisation as well as those with our various industry partners are delivered to time and budget. You should thrive on change, never be afraid to fail and have an insatiable thirst for constantly finding new ways to drive greater efficiency and growth.

What you’ll do:

• Manage the delivery of projects that involve external suppliers in the areas including:

• Business requirements gathering with BaaS clients
• Integration of a new card processor in Monese eco-system
• Integration of a new scheme Mastercard via new card processor
• Project management with schemes (Mastercard/Visa) for the
  implementation of new BINS (consumer/Business)
• Card manufacturing
• Card personalisation
• Card issuing
• Mobile payments
• Delegated Authorization server and velocity limits/card spending
  limits
• Fraud Monitoring rules and fraud reporting, analytics to setup
  according to scheme rules
• Defining and setup of the dispute and chargeback process with
  Monese business and new card processor
• Defining and setup of new settlement process for the Monese
  treasury teams to pay the schemes directly for daily settlement and
  setup of the settlement reconciliation
• Interfacing with card accounting schemes setup on BaaS platform for
• BaaS clients and adapting if needed for new BaaS clients
• Scheme reporting to setup to enable Monese business teams to
  report
• Invoicing BaaS clients for card partner costs related to their activity

• Work with the internal product teams to ensure that projects with external suppliers
  are closely coordinated to ensure a high level of efficiency
• Set schedules for project delivery and take responsibility for delivery to planned
  timings and budgets
• Act as an internal expert for the understanding of the card and payments industry
• Use business intelligence data, customer feedback and research (mainly from
  partners) to inform focus and decisions
• Ensure new opportunities with partners are clearly communicated to internal teams
• Contribute to the development of internal systems that drive greater project
  efficiency
• Develop partnerships with companies that can help in the development of the
  Monese card, banking and payments proposition
• Contribute to the broader efforts of growth and marketing as part of the team

What you'll need:

•  Somebody with a can-do attitude and commercial mind-set who is experienced in
  working to targets and is not afraid to get their hands dirty where necessary
• Strong experience of managing fast-paced projects in the card, payments or banking
  industry
• Experience in working alongside digital product teams
• Strong empathy – to be able to understand our customer, it is important to be able
  to understand the challenges and issues they face and how we can play a part in
  solving them
• Somebody who is not afraid to try things and fail in order to get at the learning
• Experience of working on a multi-national and multi-lingual product would be an
  advantage
• To know when those around them need help
• Professionalism coupled with a sense of humour
