What you’ll be doing:

Monese is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fun and supportive Finance team. You should be someone who loves to learn and who would find the prospect of frequently being challenged exciting. As Senior Accountant, you will report to the Group Head of Finance and support the team in our management accounting, payroll, tax and statutory reporting activities, for our group entities located in UK, Estonia, Belgium and Ireland.

• Monthly management accounts review. You will make sure our accounts are up-to-date and properly backed up with underlying documents and reconciliations
• Compliance with all local regulatory, VAT/tax and statistics reporting
• Review and facilitation of the payroll process
• Annual local statutory accounts preparation and audit liaison
• Support the A/P, A/R and payroll functions in preparation and review
• Be involved in projects relating to systems, tax planning, group structure, transfer-pricing and other development and improvement initiatives
• Design new processes and streamline existing ones – change our workflows, automate routine tasks, and help us become more efficient
• Be involved in the accounting of and set-up for our activities internationally
• Learn about the accounting and tax relating to foreign entities

What we want:

• UK and international accounting experience
• UK - you are CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
• Estonia - you have higher education in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• You have excellent Excel skills
• You are confident to communicate to both internal and external stakeholders

What we consider a plus:

• Have worked in a multinational company before
• Experience working with NetSuite
